Accounts Assistant

Working as an Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:
- Processing Purchase Invoices and Credit Notes
- Liaising with suppliers regarding any queries
- Answering and directing calls
- Booking site hours to job costings
- Arranging returns and keeping the log up to date
- Ensuring job costings are maintained by entering Invoices in a timely manner#
- Account Supplier application forms and new client application forms
- Creating Sundry Invoices
- Chasing sales ledger debt
- Being trained on Payroll
- Any other general admin duties as required
You will have:
- Previous experience within accounts carrying out a similar role
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel and Sage 50
- The ability to work in a small team and alone
- A “can do” approach
- An understanding of VAT and Nominal Codes
