Visiting Music Teacher – Piano (and Organ)
The School is seeking a skilful and experienced musician to be part of our dynamic Music Department. The successful applicant will hold a minimum of Grade 8 in Piano, and ideally Grade 8 in Organ, be passionate about music-making, and have the ability to inspire young musicians.
Visiting Music Teachers (VMTs) at New Hall School are responsible for administering their own timetable, including sourcing of resources and repertoire. They are supported by members of the Music Department and provided with access to school systems to timetable and register their students.VMTs set their own teaching rate and invoice parents directly. A nominal charge is payable to the School in exchange for the promotion of their services and use of the School’s facilities. VMTs are expected to report on student progress to parents/guardians.
Opportunities to support or lead an ensemble or musical activity may be available; this is remunerated separately.
