What skills and experience we're looking for

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant KS2 at Bridge Farm Primary School you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

Bridge Farm Primary School wish to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a named pupil in KS2 either in or out of the classroom and at playtimes. We would want to appoint a flexible and dedicated professional with classroom experience.

We are looking for a flexible and dedicated Teaching Assistant who possesses:

  • A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children
  • Empathy and understanding children's individual learning abilities
  • Knowledge, understanding and experience of working with children who have communication and interaction difficulties
  • An understanding of KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Patience and a good sense of humour
  • Flexibility
  • Willing to go the extra mile for the children in their care
  • Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community
  • Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally
