Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager (Nurse Qualified) to oversee the daily operations of our nursing home. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of care are maintained while managing staff, budgets, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing home, ensuring a high standard of care for all residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality service and compliance with regulations.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents through effective risk management and health and safety practices.
- Liaise with residents, families, and external stakeholders to ensure open communication and satisfaction.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Oversee the administration of medication and health assessments in compliance with NMC guidelines.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Proven experience in a management role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing home.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in elderly care.
- Commitment to promoting resident-centered care and enhancing quality of life.
Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
