Your new role
The role involves delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons to students across a range of year groups, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their learning. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining high teaching standards.What you'll need to succeed
- Strong Subject Knowledge: A solid understanding of Computer Science, including programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar), algorithms, and key curriculum topics.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level, including GCSE and A-level.
- Effective Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex concepts clearly, engage students, and build positive relationships.
- Classroom Management: Proven skills in creating an inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that fosters learning and participation.
