To exercise full responsibility and autonomy for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children and young people referred to the Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trusts Core CAMHS, and their carers and families, where the presenting difficulties and concerns can be managed as a psychologically based intervention.
To develop and provide a range of highly specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions/intervention packages for children and young people and their carers and families referred to the LPFT core CAMHS. Specific areas of expertise to include working with children and young people with complex needs; experience of providing highly specialist developmental assessments, including specialist cognitive assessments and life skills and functioning assessments, to help more fully understand the underlying learning difficulties which may be impacting on a child / young persons presentation at home and at school; providing group interventions to children, young people and their carers.
To lead on overseeing the attachment pathway within CAMHS, offering highly specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions as appropriate and overseeing agreed group and individual interventions on this pathway. Expected to consider and cover the needs of Children in Care (CiC).
This will include working with the CYP Complex Need Service.
