Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Vehicles (EV) Technician to join our busy R&D department at our Group's headquarters in Belton, Grantham.

Working closely with and as a key part of the R&D team, you'll be responsible for testing, diagnosing and repairing EV batteries, as well as supporting EV processes.

The successful individual will be internally trained in HV batteries and safety systems. They will also be required to achieve a company funded, external HV EV level 3 certification.

Salary for this role will be discussed at interview.

Purpose: Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Testing, diagnosing, and repairing EV batteries.
  • Support production EV battery remanufacturing.
  • Support of EV projects.
  • Reporting on EV battery testing.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Engineering Qualifications, apprenticeship or relevant experience.
Skills / Knowledge
  • Fluent in English language
  • IT literate in office and windows based applications
Experience
  • Experience of procedure writing and operator training would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience with EV batteries and their components.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent team working skills, but also the ability to use own initiative.
  • Open to embracing new ways of working and comfortable with change.
  • Ability to manage own workload to meet specific deadlines.
  • Positive attitude towards all work, colleagues and customers.
