An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working days, Monday to Thursday and 3pm finish on Friday, with an hourly rate of upto £17.50 per hour along with regular overtime and free parking.An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working days, Monday to Thursday and 3pm finish on Friday, with an hourly rate of upto £17.50 per hour along with regular overtime and free parking.They specialise in providing a range of metal forming processes to meet their client’s needs, with state-of-the-art equipment, due to rapid growth and future plan, including the imminent arrival of a second laser, they are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to add to the current team.Press Brake Operator Duties:
Setting and operating Press Brake MachinesBatch work and one-off assignments
Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information
Inspecting and maintaining quality control before and after production
Cross checking & completing all necessary paperwork
Assisting in other areas when required
Experience and knowledge:Essential:
Experience as a lead operator on a Press BrakeAbility to read an interpret detailed engineering drawings
Experience of working on a shop floor in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of a variety of steel alloy grades
Desired:
FLT experienceExperience of working in a sub-contracting press brake setting
Ability to prioritise your own workload
