ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
SITA UK is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our SkyStar Program within the Procurement function, initially for a 12 month period, with the potential for a permanent role.
Your main tasks will involve supporting the category leads and the sourcing specialists and provide supporting data and MI to create more informed strategies and procurements as well as play a hands-on role in direct sourcing activity, obtaining quotes, supporting RFx`s and E Sourcing initiatives, providing assistance under supervision of the Chief Procurement Officer, and ensuring the smooth operation of procurement. WHAT YOU’LL DO- Working with the category leads across the Hardware and Software categories providing Procurement support on sourcing, contracting and administration activities and tasks.
- Carrying out market research to support the creation and maintenance of applicable best practice category strategies & sourcing activity
- Support assigned category leads and sourcing leads on applicable sourcing / RFP / RFI activity
- Providing hands on support to category e-sourcing activity – data gathering, supplier shortlisting, RFP/ E-Sourcing set up
- Supporting delivery of transformational activities across the Procurement team scope and remit.
Qualifications:
WHO YOU ARE- A Bachelor's degree graduate in business or related discipline.
- Committed to continuous learning and pursuing professional qualification.
- Strong analytical skills for market research and data analysis.
- Previous experience in procurement
- Previous experience in aviation
