The Role
We’re seeking a Junior Accountant who is passionate about numbers and eager to develop their skills in an accounting practice environment. Working closely with our finance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing revenue streams, invoicing, and accrued revenue postings
- Performing credit control functions.
- Maintaining expenditure records and coding invoices accurately.
- Posting payments and receipts, organising, and filing invoices.
- Assisting the team with month-end processes.
- Performing account and bank reconciliations.
- Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

The Ideal Candidate

- A desire to complete ACCA/ACA/CIMA or a similar qualification
- Some experience or knowledge gained within an accountancy practice
- A keen attitude for learning and growing your expertise

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced level Microsoft Office skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a pragmatic mindset

- A natural tendency to challenge the status quo and find innovative solutions
