Salary: £85 - £100 per day (based on experience)
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Oldham. You will be working closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and supporting their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning and behavioural needs.
- Assist in preparing and delivering lessons under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- Offer social and emotional support to students who need it.
- Promote positive behaviour and help students develop important life skills.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with students who have SEN is desirable.
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
