About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Chef (7061/2 or equivalent) to contribute to the success of our busy hospital kitchen and restaurant. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to support and enhance meal preparation for:

  • 750+ patients, staff, and visitors daily
  • A dynamic restaurant environment.

The role includes:

  • Assisting in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals.
  • Supervising and mentoring team members.
  • Thriving under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust operates a 24-hour service, 365 days a year. As such, all nursing, clinical, and operational roles may involve working on a 24/7 shift basis, unless otherwise specified during the recruitment process. For part time roles you will receive a pro rata'd (proportional) salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.
