Job Description

Project Finance Business Partner

Global Payments financial services fintech

City of London location with 3 days a week in officeThe role involves owning and modelling £15 Million of cost across multiple technology re-platforming streams to harmonize their payment platforms.
  • Partner with project teams to provide financial insight and guidance (e.g. to programme directors, financial controllers by multiple regions and countries, IT developers)
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide recommendations through savvy use of Excel Financial Modelling (to build into a more operationalized view - month by month)
  • Prepare and present accurate project budgets and forecasts
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and post-implementation they will bill customers/merchants
  • Billing re-charges - build a new approach to different regions going forward
  • Monitor project expenditure and perform variance analysis

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of project accounting and modelling project financials
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel
