Jonothan Bosworth | Recruitment Specialists is recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a leading and dynamic SaaS company in Central London.

As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring systems are highly reliable and that software releases are fast, secure, and seamless. You’ll take ownership of designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as developing infrastructure across both desktop and web applications.

In this autonomous role, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and implement a DevOps culture from the ground up, collaborating closely with Development and Tech teams to drive efficiency, automation, and innovation in the software delivery process.

This is your chance to shape and define the DevOps strategy, playing a key part in the continuous improvement of technology and systems.

Key responsibilities.

You will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, efficient, and reliable software delivery across all platforms.

You will manage and maintain the development infrastructure, ensuring scalability, stability, and seamless integration with development environments.

Technical skills.

Knowledge and experience of working with best practice DevOps principles.

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting proprietary software.

Proficiency in Windows VMs, SQL Server, Azure, and Windows PowerShell scripting.

Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Working Knowledge of HTML, PHP & CSS, with an understanding of XML and XSL Translation.

Thorough understanding of networking standards and protocols.

In-depth knowledge of software development, networking, and IT infrastructure operations.

Experience working with the latest Windows Server and Linux OS with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues and resolve user issues.
