Working as an Assistant Store Manager / Deputy Retail Manager you will support the Store Manger and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the store.
Assistant Store Manager / Deputy Retail Manager you will also support your full-time and part-time sales staff and ensure customers receive a first-class experience with each visit to the store.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Assistant Store Manager / Deputy Retail Manager include:
- Supporting Store Operations: Assist in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the store runs efficiently and effectively
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to drive excellent performance
- Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
- Sales and Profitability: Assist the Store Manager in maximising sales and profitability through effective merchandising, stock control, and loss prevention strategies
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and security policies are adhered to, maintaining a safe environment for customers and colleagues alike
- Store Standards: Maintain high visual standards, ensuring the store is clean, organised, and welcoming to customers
- Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is essential, with some experience in a supervisory or team leader position preferred
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to engage, motivate, and develop team members effectively
- Results-Driven: Passionate about achieving sales targets and delivering excellent service
- Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to resolving challenges and improving processes
