Our client, a reputable academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking a committed Spanish and French Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach two exciting and vibrant languages, encouraging students to develop fluency and a deeper appreciation of Spanish and French-speaking cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in both Spanish and French across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5).
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
- Foster a positive and immersive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and cultural awareness.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs, through focused teaching and revision sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and staff to support student well-being and academic success.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish and French, with the ability to teach both languages.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching languages and inspiring students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
