Avidity Group have an opportunity for a new Finance Assistant to join their busy Finance team. Avidity is the parent company of a group of Field Sales and Marketing companies, working with various well known brands across the UK and Ireland helping them to sell more!
You may be a recent graduate with a degree in Accounting and looking for your first role within a Finance environment or maybe you already have experience within a similar role and now looking for a new challenge within a team that could offer longer term progression.Either way, you will consider yourself an Excel whizz and will be comfortable working within a hybrid environment (Glasgow City Centre HO).
As Finance Assistant you will be responsible for (but not limited to): processing ledger transactions (sales, purchase and general ledgers), processing payments on multiple banking platforms, transacting journal entries as part of month-end reporting and preparing monthly bank reconcilliation sheets as well as weekly bank reconcilliations.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally you will have some experience within a similar role and will be comfortable with debits and credits.- A confident Excel user, using various formulas such as VLOOKUP/ XLOOKUP
- Experience in using NetSuite would be advantageous
- Great attention to detail and high accuracy
- Work well in a team environment (virtually & face to face) and enjoy collaborating with a wider team
- Great communication skills - you will work closely with wider business and client teams
- Salary circa £26K
