The role
Based in the company’s recently established clinical research department. Reporting to the Clinical Research Lead, the Administration Co-ordinator will support the co-ordination of clinical trials, whilst monitoring good clinical practice across the unit.
Key responsibilities will include -- Maintain trial master files, consent forms and study documentation in compliance with ethical and
- Schedule patient / participant visits and communication, investigator meetings and study assessments.
- Oversee and facilitate the recruitment of study patients / participants, according to eligibility criteria.
- Maintain communication with patients / participants, providing clear instructions, managing queries and
- Support the collection, entry and validation of accurate clinical data.
- Assist in audit preparation and resolution of data queries related to clinical studies.
- Support the clinical research lead with administrative duties
- Organise and document team meetings, ensuring the follow up of key actions.
- You will have previous office co-ordination / PA experience, with strong organisational skills and the ability to
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with patients / participants, as well as cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach towards the improvement of processes and the ability to troubleshoot administrative
- A knowledge of data protection and confidentiality regulations would be ideal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (to include Excel), and data management.
- A basic understanding of ISO 14155 and GCP is desirable
- A basic understanding of audit and regulatory study inspections is desirable.
- A basic understanding of study recruitment strategies is desirable.
