As a Healthcare Assistant at our Rotherham Dialysis Unit, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients quality of life.Were committed to your professional growth and will provide comprehensive training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education program, d Academy.
Your Responsibilities:Maintaining clean equipment following proper training.Preparing supplies and packs for treatment.Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis.Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas.Serving refreshments during treatments.Our Requirements:Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health; Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English.What We Offer:Monday to Saturday (please note there are no nights or Sunday working).Competitive Salary of up to £25,086 depending on experience.Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks).Opportunities for internal development and career progression, including relevant study.35 Days Holiday (inclusive of 8 days bank holiday) increasing with service.Enjoy holidays on Christmas and New Years Day.Free Uniform ( 3), Tea & Coffee, Flu Vaccine, and Christmas Meal.Life Assurance, We Care, Company Pension, Blue Light card and Concerts for Carers.Referral scheme paying up to £500.Why Choose Diaverum?
