Immigration Paralegal
Job Description:Our client, SKS LAW LTD is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team at our Leicester office. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those interested in immigration law and looking to grow their career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Immigration Lawyer in preparing immigration cases, including visa applications, appeals, and documentation for clients.Conduct legal research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
Draft legal documents and correspondence under the supervision of senior legal professionals.
Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their case progress.
Maintain and organize client files and case documentation.
Support the legal team with administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
A strong interest in immigration law and OISC Level 1 qualification would be added as an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in immigration law or as a paralegal is advantageous but not essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software is desirable.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualifications preferred, but not essential for those with relevant experience.Knowledge of immigration laws and processes is a plus.
