Quarriers Rivendell are currently recruiting a part time Intensive Support Practitioner to provide support to children and young people who have complex support needs.
Rivendell is set in the idyllic location Quarriers Village and has a beautiful outdoor space and sensory room where the children and young people can have fun and enjoy a tranquil or stimulating space.
As an Intensive Support Practitioner you will work as team providing support to each person in their daily young lives. Some of the people supported really enjoy music and the service is dedicating to making the environment enjoyable and fun so lasting memories are shared.The team create a safe place where children and young people can thrive and ensure that each child and young person's needs are cared for.

Working pattern: This is a part time permanent role offering 30 hours per week. Shifts are 7.5 hours per day and you will be required to work various shift patterns to meet the needs of the people we support. These will include early shifts 7am – 2:30pm, late shifts 2pm – 9:30pm and will include working weekends on a rotational basis.
What you will need to bring to the role- Essential you hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) and HNC. (Please note having both is a requirement, if you do not hold both you must hold 1 and prepared to work towards achieving the other within an agree period)
- Experience and knowledge of working with children & families in a similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written to support recording and reporting
- Due to the idyllic location of the service a driver is desirable with access to their own transport.
