Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO)
Full Time / Part Time (4 days per week, approx. 0.7 – 0.8 FTE)

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious SENCO, experienced in the delivery and oversight of SEND provision, to lead and further develop the provision for children with special educational needs across the Senior School (ages 11 – 18). As SENCO, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic approach to inclusion and ensuring that all pupils receive the support they need to achieve their full potential, as well as liaising with our Prep School SENCO to ensure continuity of care and provision across both Schools.The role involves working closely with teachers, pastoral staff including our Head of Pupil Wellbeing, parents, and external agencies to develop and maintain appropriate support plans and interventions, and to maximise academic progress for all pupils.
You will have Qualified Teaching Status and be either NASENCO or NPQ (SENCO) qualified (or working towards the qualification). With experience of working with children from 11 – 18 with SEND you’ll also have strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
