Your new school

A Special Needs School for complex disabilities in North Central Birmingham is looking for a temporary School Receptionist. This School receptionist job is 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday term time only. This is a long-term role to start as soon as possible.

Your new job

The school reception is a very busy and fast paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting parents, visitors and pupils as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered too.

Please note this is a very busy reception desk and requires an individual that can work under pressure.

What you'll need to succeed

For this school receptionist job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception.

You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
