Please note candidates who are successfully appointed to the Annex 21 Band 8b, will be remunerated according to Annex 21 and completion of the identified learning/development is a requirement of the contract of employment.
Applications for this position are invited from psychologists with experience relevant to either a Band 8b position, or from psychologists seeking a development opportunity with remuneration under Annex 21 of the A4C Terms and Conditions. The Principal Practitioner Psychologist will be required to undertake up to a 24 month training/development programme upon commencement of this role, with an aim to attain a post-qualification advanced training in a formal psychological therapy, undertake training in evidence-based psychological interventions specific to working with people physical health problems and gain knowledge and experience of working in a physical health setting
