We are working with a reputable manufacturer in Kent who are looking to hire a Design Engineer with mechanical bias.
The role has been created due to expansion of the already well-established design team, and the successful appointee will work on the design and redesign of a wide product range.
Our client supplies electronics products into the aerospace, defence and military industries.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, verifying, preparing and maintaining technical drawings, schematics and specs.
- Preparing manufacturing and process instructions
- Resolving design discrepancies
- Support the design and development of test rigs
Skills & Experience required:
- BEng in mechanical subject or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years design for manufacture experience
- 3D CAD proficient (CREO preferred)
