Conexus Tuition King's Heath & Moseley Birmingham
Commencing September 18th 2024 **
Science Tutor Opportunity
Love teaching, but not the nonsense that goes with it?
Enjoy supporting, coaching and challenging students to achieve their potential?
Are you looking for a friendly, close-knit team that smile?
Suitable for Qualified Teachers, or tutors with relevant, demonstrable experience.
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to complete our DBS checks.
Requirements
The venue is incredibly supportive and welcoming, there is an on site cafe/bistro and a ready supply of biscuits!
We have a simple and tight system for dealing with tutor feedback on learners, which requires no additional work on the part of the tutor outside of the tutorial.
The students? They are polite, motivated Y10s and Y11s, who are keen to succeed.
We don’t ask for planning or marking – our tutors give live feedback in the sessions. All we ask is that you log feedback during the session.
You are the subject expert, and you are trusted.
We are exam focused. That’s because we want to maximise the marks for these students. This is what will make the difference to their futures. So, everything we do is through the filter of the exam.
You’ll have data about your students and a brief from their subject lead about the skills and content they’d like covered. You then have the freedom to teach the way you know works.
Pay: £32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 per week
