Job overview
This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.
A position has arisen for the post of Health Care Assistant within The Quay Health Centre, Connah's Quay. The post its a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The team consists of nursing staff, HCA, domestics and administrative staff who work work together to provide high levels of patient care. The team are flexible in their approach to all aspects of patient care always putting patient needs first.
Main duties of the job
To assist registered nurses deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.
Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
Essential criteria- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Have dates agreed to complete the All Wales Induction framework Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent
- Completion of all Wales Induction Framework
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience required to fulfil the requirements of the post.
- Experience of dealing with the public
- Previous clinical experience
Aptitude and Abilities
Essential criteria- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging circumstances
- Ability to speak Welsh
