We are working closely with a vibrant and forward-thinking school in Poole, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join their team for a part-time position (0.5 FTE) from Easter 2025 until July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring students and fostering a love of literature and language.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are inclusive, challenging, and motivating for all students.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their personal best.
- Collaborate with a supportive and dynamic department, working together to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide events and activities where appropriate.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A passion for teaching English and a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
