The Graduate Surveyor will support the Property Management team in the effective, day-to-day operation and improvement of our commercial property portfolio. This role offers a broad introduction to property management, with involvement in lease administration, service charge oversight, property inspections, tenant communication, and sustainability tracking.

Full support will be provided to work towards RICS chartership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lease and Tenant Support:

  • Support the resolution of tenant queries and day-to-day occupancy matters.
  • Maintain accurate lease documentation and tenant contact records.
  • Attend property inspections and meetings with tenants and managing agents.

Operational Reporting and Data Management:

  • Support the preparation of property management reports.
  • Monitor key operational metrics such as service charges and maintenance costs, tenant arrears, service charge income and expenditure, health and safety, void rates management.
  • Ensure internal systems are kept up to date with property-level data.

Project and Strategy Support:

  • Contribute to the preparation and review of service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Assist with sustainability and compliance-related data gathering and reporting (e.g. EPCs, health & safety).

Requirements
  • A degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related subject.
  • Commitment to working towards RICS APC (support will be provided).
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills, workflow load management, prioritisation and attention to detail, especially in reporting and compliance.
  • Good communicator with a practical, problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload and using initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Eager to learn, build relationships, and contribute positively to the team.
