Personal Assistant required for 16-year-old young man who has Autism who enjoys lego building, zoo trips, cinema and baking.

Living in the Liskeard area.

Personal Assistant to provide support to help him enjoy his chosen activities, to help him build his confidence and to encourage relationships in the home and out in the community.

Some knowledge or experience of working with young people with special educational needs is essential.

Rate of pay - £12.00 per hour

11 hours a week are available, working some weekends, school holidays and after school.

Own transport is desirable.

The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check, the administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
