Assistant Year Manager
Excelsior Academy, part of Laidlaw Schools Trust, are looking for a new Assistant Year Manager to join their school team and support in the development and maintenance of effective pastoral care and promote academic success for all students.
The successful candidate will encourage a positive ethos and inspire pupils to have high expectations of themselves and others whilst also promoting effective learning through providing student support, liaising with parents and carers and collaborating with teachers.
For this role you will have a good standard of education and some experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work, or pastoral care setting would be desirable.
Excelsior Academy is an All-Through Academy providing education for students aged 3 – 19, serving the West End of Newcastle. Working at Excelsior, you will play an important role in our continuous drive for further improvement.
You will join Laidlaw Schools Trust (a Multi Academy Trust) where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families.
