About Our Client
Our client is a large organisation in the healthcare industry, based in North Yorkshire. They are known for their innovative approach, and for being a key player in the sector.
Job Description- Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Supporting the organisation through their audit.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Prior experience as a Financial Accountant/ Group Accountant, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A competitive day rate of £400-500per day.
