Early Intervention Team Manager - Coventry

The successful applicant will manage a team to ensure that patients under the team are offered holistic care in line with the EIT Access and Waiting Time Standards. This will include ensuring that members of the team offer psycho-education, staying well planning and early warning signs work.
They will ensure that team are offering patients NICE recommended treatments including Behavioural Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Carer's Education and Employment support from IPS Rethink. You will offer clinical and managerial supervision to members of the team and be present in MDT meetings aswell as supporting with professionals and safeguarding meetings.
You will also attend the trust-wide meetings and disseminate any key information back to the team. You will need excellent communication and networking skills as you will be working with the South Warwickshire and North Warwickshire Teams on service development, quality assurance and governance initiatives and auditing including the NCAP and EIPN.
You will also be involved in working towards gaining accreditation for the team by looking at recommendations that have been made from our recent Royal College of Psychiatrist Early Intervention in Psychosis Network peer developmental review.
You will also be expected to carry out duties as per the job description. Experience in working in the community and/or urgent care is desirable. The ability to travel during the working day over a large geographical area is essential as is the ability to work flexibly with the needs of the client group.

You will need to have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and will be expected to demonstrate your ability to work within a team. You will be expected to supervise support staff and students. The post is subject to DBS clearance.
