FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with salary up to circa £65,000 plus benefits. This is a permanent role based in Stirling working for a leading medical/healthcare organisation. Hybrid working available, 3 days office/2 work from home.
You will have VHDL design experience for FPGA’s, ideally with schematic and PCB layout experience in both analog and digital elements
Responsibilities- Oversee verification of designs
- Defining test protocols and procedures with product evaluation
- Design specialised test jigs to assess functionality and reliability
- Focus and support for design validation particularly for electrical, electromagnetic compatibility, usability testing
- A bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Electronics Engineering or similar or 5+ years of experience in electronics design for system development.
- Electronics schematic and layout design experience (ideally in Altium Designer) for analogue and digital circuits
- VHDL design experience for FPGAs
- Any experience with RF, designing antennas, using RF tools like spectrum analyser or network analyser would be desirable, not essential
- Any experience of working with medical applications/products would be an advantage or an interest in medical product design.
