We are currently looking for talented and proven chef in one of our business' most prestigious sites nestled in the heart of Bath. Working in a kitchen environment and serving fresh, seasonal produce you will use modern techniques and always be looking at ways in which you can develop the food offer.
To provide our teams with the right skills to succeed in their jobs, we invest in their training and development. Our exceptional teams of seasoned specialists customise our catering services to fit children of all ages and satisfy the unique needs of our clients.
From tasting tables, theme days and food theatre, to chef demonstrations and supplier showcases, we create engaging and fun dining experiences for our students. We work together to make mealtimes exploratory, quirky, and fun for our pupils, helping them build string and healthy relationships with food.

Job Description- Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to the standards set by the head/sous chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Station Management – oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and upkeep your designated area with supplies and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures
- Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times
- Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all other team members and assist/support all colleagues where necessary
- Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation
- Cleaning and Maintenance – maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen including your designated area ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Proven experience working in as a Chef de Partie or similar role is essential
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Works according to the Holroyd Howe core values
Additional Information
This role is mostly term time with 4 weeks work for summer school.
This is a boarding school so breakfasts, weekends and evenings (06:30 - 19:30) would be part of your normal work pattern so you must be flexible within these times..
