Job Description- Manage IT procurement activities to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of IT-related resources.
- Develop and implement IT procurement strategies in line with company goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with IT suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct market research to identify new vendors and suppliers.
- Review and negotiate IT contracts and agreements.
- Monitor and manage IT procurement budgets.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to forecast IT needs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Procurement Specialist should have:
- Experience in IT procurement
- Knowledge of IT procurement best practices and procedures.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- An annual salary in the range of £67,500 to £82,500, dependent on skills and experience.
