Any opportunity has arisen for a proactive Occupational Therapist to join our Specialist Palliative Care multi-professional Team. They will have strong skills in hospital and community working and will support patients and their Families living with advanced and terminal illness with complex and often rapidly changing needs.
The successful post holder will provide an evidence based Occupational Therapy (OT) service to the palliative care patients at home, and to help deliver safe Palliative care service, over the Whipps Cross site. Focusing on adaptation, enablement, rehabilitation, and therapeutic interventions.
To assist in the development and evaluation of the OT service. To work autonomously with the Palliative team to contribute to exemplary care for patients and their families. To be a resource and support to other hospital staff and community professionals by offering OT knowledge and skills.
