About Our Client
Our client is a British universal bank providing support on retail banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking and wealth management. They are looking for an experienced Senior In-house Payments Lawyer to support their in-house function.
Job Description
The purpose of this role is to assess the effectiveness and integrity of the business' internal control framework to support the mitigation of risk and protection of their operational, financial and reputational risk. As Senior In-house Payments Lawyer, you can expect to:
- advise key stakeholders on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment
- manage and mitigate risks
- demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in realtion to the work your team does
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior In-house Payments Lawyer will be 6 years+ qualified with:
- experience in payments regulation
- experience with relevant financial services products and applicable regulations
- strong commercial focus and understanding of the management of risk
