That means having a passion for social work, enabling effective integrated working, promoting independence through reablement approaches and safeguarding adults in Salford. You will be responsible for carrying out social work duties, requiring the highest levels of skills, knowledge, and professional expertise.
You will assist the Team Manager in ensuring the delivery of effective, safe integrated services for adults through the promotion of high standards of practice in assessment and person-centred support planning being creative to meet individual outcomes.

You will be a skilled, effective practitioner acting with considerable autonomy. You should have in depth knowledge and skill in one or more fields of practice which may have been developed through a formal post - qualifying training and development activity.You should have or will be expected to undertake Practice Educator training and support student Social Workers. You may have or will be expected to undertake a postgraduate qualification and role in specialised practice e.g., AMHP, BIA. You will need to have capability to integrate professional knowledge, the views of people using services and research/evaluation evidence routinely in their practice.
You will need to demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk while promoting enablement and self-determination. You will need to network and liaise with a wider range of professionals and other colleagues, including at more senior or strategic levels.
You will need to manage complex caseloads and offer expert opinion within the organisation and to others.
