  • and right now we are looking to recruit for a Catering Assistant to join the Ferry leisure centre.

As the Catering Assistant, your role is to support the Catering Supervisor in delivering a world class customer service within the restaurant and Café.

You will be a varied role and some of your duties will include carrying out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout and undertaking record temperature checks whilst ensuring high standards of food hygiene are maintained.

You will also make sure that customers are served promptly and efficiently and ensure that financial and cash handling procedures are complied with.

About you

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Oxford Leisure, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required.

Level 2 in food safety is desirable as is previous experience in a customer facing environment, however full training will be provided.

Due to the early shift time, it is desirable that that you are able to drive to the location.
