Maintenance Assistant

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant for a short term contract. The position will be for around 2-3 months.

The Maintenance Assistant will be part of the property team and you will be the first point of contact for tenants. The role will involve:

• Responsibility for coordination of works to void properties and support the Maintenance Officer in void management.
• Responsible for processing tenants' repair requests
• Responsible for raising work orders that are sent via email or via the repair inbox portal accordingly as well as monitoring contractors' performance
• You will liaise with the Maintenance Officer in respect of any pre or post inspections required as well as with approved contractors to resolve any issues arising from repair requests.
• Responsible for the day-to-day administration, management of cyclical, compliance and planned maintenance

Previous experience working in property/repairs is required to be considered for this role. Start date for the position is ASAP.
