Location: England, Greater London, ClaphamJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £150 - £200 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons to secondary school students
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' progress
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in English or a related field
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Experience:
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level
- Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the English curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a classroom setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities or school events
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
