We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled, and approachable individuals to join our rapidly expanding workshop team. In this role, you'll work across all areas of our paint department, from preparing wooden components (filling and sanding), to assisting with the operation of our automated spray machines.

The position will require an eye for detail and someone who is methodical and technically minded. In-house training will be provided by our staff.

Your job will include, but is not limited to:

  • Prepping wooden components for coating
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Transporting finished components between departments
  • Loading materials onto the spray line and drying racks
  • Mixing paints as needed
  • Heavy lifting and manual tasks
  • Ensuring machine efficiency
  • Assisting other workshop departments when needed

The job role will be working between 2 sites in Shepshed.

We would love for you to have the following skills:

  • Relevant experience working on a spray line or machine operating (advantageous).
  • Have some previous experience, in a finishing role (advantageous).
  • Strong Communicator.
  • Adaptability.
  • Good at problem-solving.
  • Be punctual and logically minded.
  • Team Player
  • Have a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs grades 9-7/A-C in Maths and English Language (desirable).

We offer a competitive salary based on experience and during your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals where your pay will be reviewed. After this, we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.

You will receive 22 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) which can increase with length of service and experience, as well as life insurance, a wellness program, cycle 2 work scheme, and company events.
