Our client based in the Wrexham currently have an opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Performance Objectives- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Cashflow forecasting.
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
- Payroll preparation and submission to bureau.
- Profit and loss margin analysis by products.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee stock management system.
- Present key financial information to senior management.
- Key contact for auditors and banking partners.
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and IT systems.
- Management of a small finance team/HR administration.
- Liaising with auditors for year-end statutory accounts preparation.
- The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- Experience of working within an SME.
- Competent leadership skills are crucial.
- The role holder will be required to partner with the MD.
- Excellent staff management skills are crucial.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
