Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans that align with the manufacturing company's growth targets and production capacities.
- Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
- Work with R&D and production teams to understand product capabilities and promote them effectively in the market.
- Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team, ensuring each member understands product technicalities and value propositions.
- Set performance targets and regularly assess team progress through KPIs like unit sales, revenue, and profitability.
- Provide training on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the manufacturing industry or similar field.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret technical product specifications and translate them into sales pitches.
