Mortgage Underwriter – BTL & Residential (Complex Cases)
Fully Remote | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist lender known for their expertise in complex mortgage solutions. They’re looking for a skilled Mortgage Underwriter to join their growing team in a fully remote role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manually assessing and underwriting complex BTL and Residential mortgage applications
- Making confident lending decisions within your mandate
- Collaborating with brokers, advisors, and internal teams to ensure smooth case progression
- Staying current with lending criteria, market trends, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of manual mortgage underwriting experience with an active mandate
- Proven expertise in complex mortgage cases, particularly BTL and Residential
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
