Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project programmes using project management software packages (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• In conjunction with the project team, develop the methodology to enable the most efficient and effective delivery of the

• Attend project reviews and design team meetings for projects throughout the lifecycle of a project.
• To prepare and present progress reports of project progress against programmes.
• Attend prestart meetings with clients and sub-contractors where necessary.
• Assist in the creation of exit strategies prior to client handover.
• To ensure a positive profile for HMS through effective business relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Assist the Project Management Team to identify and develop new initiatives and take advantage of business opportunities

Skills & Experience:

• HNC/HND in Construction or NVQ 4 in Construction discipline or working towards one.
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Able to demonstrate considerable knowledge of Construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Experience of project planning and sequencing including proficient use of recognised planning software (e.g., Microsoft

• Strong understanding of construction process, resources, and timelines.
• Experience of compiling delays programmes and have a good working knowledge of delay analysis techniques to support potential

• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contract families.
• Experience of project management and project co-ordination.
• Site health & safety awareness.
• Experience of implementing new initiatives.
