An exceptional opportunity for an inspirational and highly motivated SENCO to join our school improvement team
Tove Learning Trust is a well regarded, successful and growing trust which now has fifteen schools in Northamptonshire/Milton Keynes and the West Midlands and educates over 10,000 children and young people at primary and secondary level. We are focussed on the individual progress and aspirations of all our young people, particularly with regards to SEND and ensuring that standards of achievement, and teaching and learning across the MAT are of the highest quality and that schools joining the trust are fully supported.
This newly created post requires an exceptional educational practitioner to support our existing School Improvement Director (SEND/Inclusion) to develop and manage a high standard of provision for learners with SEND, ensuring that the standards of attainment and achievement are high and that our SEND pupils make accelerated and sustained progress.The role can be based at any of our schools and will require some travel to other school locations.
You will be joining a positive and hardworking school improvement team who care passionately about improving the life chances of our young people.
The successful candidate will:
- be a qualified SENCO with experience of working with children with SEND in a school setting
- have experience of leadership within a faculty or school
- have a demonstrable ability to establish a positive and motivational performance culture
- be passionate about inclusion, a champion for all students with SEND and an advocate for our vulnerable students
- have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As travel is required between sites, you must have access to a reliable means of transport in order to carry out your duties.
