Communications Assistant, International Stores Communications (PR)

Amazon's International Stores Communications team is seeking a Communications Assistant to support our EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions.

This role sits within the International Stores Communications Hub team as part of the Global Stores Communications organisation and reports to the Core Retail Communications Manager, and will additionally support the Head of International Influencer Relations.

In this role, you will specifically support two key strategic Communications programs; (1) Prime and (2) Influencer Relations.

Key job responsibilities
  • Supporting the Prime topic leads on coordinating Prime comms programming across 26+ countries, including toolkit creation and maintenance, messaging development, planning and reporting co-ordination and other aspects of project management.
  • Supporting the team’s influencer programming, including directly supporting the international Head of Influencer Relations on implementing influencer brand strategy, and ongoing maintenance of Amazon’s international brand influencer program.
  • Managing global influencer measurement, including management of the team’s data agency partner and creating campaign reports to assess success and areas for improvement.
  • Attending events, shoots and industry events; coordinating agencies and external partners; and hosting journalists, influencers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the team on operational processes including budget management and tracking, results tracking and ongoing reporting, internal team request processes, and comms campaign playbook and toolkit development.

A day in the life

Your typical day involves pulling the latest international influencer performance metrics, drawing insights, and developing recommendations for future activities. You will manage communications messaging databases, ensuring versions are up-to-date and assessing their effectiveness.
The role includes writing creative briefs for communications programs and supporting reactive issues management, including developing responses for upcoming business experiments. You will consult on country communications plans to ensure topic consistency and relevancy, while working across teams to gather relevant business data and insights to inform communications planning.- Experience in professional communications or public relations- Bachelor's degree
