Location - Central Manchester with Hybrid Working.
This is a well-known and reputable Legal 500 firm currently expanding its Court of Protection team based in Manchester.
About the role:
You will play a crucial role in supporting solicitors with case management, including drafting documents, conducting research, liaising with clients and preparing court applications. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop your expertise in a complex and impactful area of law.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist solicitors in managing day-to-day Court of Protection cases, including drafting correspondence, statements and reports
- Liaise with clients, their families, medical professionals, social workers and other third parties
- Ensure all case files and billing records are kept up-to-date and accurate
About you:
- Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably within Court of Protection or a related legal field
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Genuine passion for the Court of Protection and mental capacity law
